I've been back to streaming for less than three weeks. I wasn't sure if fundraising for @stjudeplaylive.bsky.social would make a difference. I offered a 12 hour stream with fun incentives and my community crushed our $2,000 goal (with a few offline donos overnight).

I started writing again recently and finished the first draft of the first chapter of my book. I asked a small handful of friends/family to read for feedback and I’m so filled with encouragement and excitement to keep going!

I had two abductions - the mom and the dad - on my personal legacy save. It's crazy!

I got a Kindle for Christmas and it's helped me get back into reading SO much! I finished finished SoTR on my flight home and cried like a baby on the plane.

Playing Fornite with your 12 year old bonus kid and your 9 year old nephew is certainly humbling. We won a few games, but dang; I'm going to have to play some Mario Kart to redeem myself.

In all seriousness, gaming with my brother and nephew across the US with "my" kids is so much fun.

I think one of the hardest parts about creating content for platforms other than Twitch is that I am learning to engage and create in a completely new way. Editing is hard, finding time to record is hard. I feel so overwhelmed sometimes, but I'm learning a lot and am excited for it, too!

Ooof felt! But it's been so fun reconnecting with friends (old and new!) and seeing so many faces I haven't talked to since St. Jude Summit or pre-pandemic... it's been really heartwarming! :) <3

I forgot how much I love getting lost in creating. Not just content - but artistic release, too. I have so much motivation and so many ideas in my head that I cannot wait to get out into the world!
