Have to spread the responsibilities around, build a real team where each player feels valued for their role.
Burns gave each player a role and they knew what it was. The top players didn't kill penalties, they had other players assigned for that, same as the checking roles. A true team, not the 'superstars' sucking up all the oxygen.
I'm not sure if Simon Nemec is one of those players, but if he's truly available he's worth the gamble to acquire. Because they have nothing in the system even close to being that type of defenceman.
