You may disagree here; I just think we’re reaching a bit of a sour point when it comes to over-analysing context, the person behind the creation and whether or not the message portrayed is helpful or empowering to society
Sometimes there is no “message” or the “message” is just a fleeting waypoint
All art is influenced by something sure, not always political or socioeconomic or geopolitical.
Everything I create musically or visually is just capturing a fleeting feeling, and I guess they work as waypoints in my life - I find it insufferable when it’s judged as anything further than that
