given the amount of Rust code to reference solely depends on how much has been written, I think Rust wouldn't be on that same path. Also C code can be more often wrong given OS-specific libraries.

The one feeling I get with Rust compared to C++ is that I really don't have the low level control I want at times. When I know what I'm doing in C++, I know exactly what I'm doing.

Though admittedly that's a lot less often than it is with Rust.
