Maybe the #KOTOR Remake is the friends we made along the way
Maybe the #KOTOR Remake is the friends we made along the way
I will never not believe that "The Mandalorian: Clan of Two" would be such a better title. Especially if the film is supposed to be a celebration of the characters' history & journey.
But no, they just threw the characters' names on a poster because original titles are hard, apparently π
There is an image of Rotta the Hutt circulating on social right now. Itβs BS. Itβs not from the film. Ignore it #TheMandalorian #StarWars
My favorite Star Wars game turns 21 today
I think a replay is in order after I finish my current replay of Jedi: Survivor
Leonard Nimoy in 1979, on the eve of returning as Spock in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, was asked what he thought about the success of Star Wars despite its (perceived) lack of βsocial significanceβ. Nimoy, bless him, was having nothing to do with any βStar Trek vs Star Warsβ bickering.
Why isn't movie marketing matching a cadence that makes specifically me comfortable? π€
Of course there's a ScreenRant article on the "controversy" over the "divisive" #TheMandalorianandGrogu super bowl ad
And it was an ad, btw. Not a trailer. They go on to call it a "30-second trailer" in the article
This fandom is fucking ridiculous in the worst possible way
That was fun and adorable, and it was supposed to be fun and adorable. That is my take.
The fact that it's making people so mad is even funnier
At least LFL still knows how to have a little bit of fun. Not everything needs to be a super serious & cool promo. Besides, they'll just complain when the full trailer releases anyway
As far as saying it's AI, it's obviously not. It looks like a dumb TV commercial because it is a dumb TV commercial w/ a dumb commercial budget
People are taking this way too seriously. It's just a bit of dumb fun, and Sam Elliot narrating a Star War fucking rocks, actually
It's been 3 years since Din & Grogu have done anything. LFL isn't going to just "move on" from their most commercially successful project in a decade
Fans like to forget just how insane the Grogu hype is with the general audience. There's no way the baby Yoda movie isn't a box office success
People take things way too serious
No matter what sort of promo they release, people are going to complain about it
I'd much rather they have some fun making a dumb spoof of a classic Super Bowl tradition than try way too hard making a "cool" promo that people will still say looks bad
People have really forgotten what parody & satire are, huh?
At least Lucasfilm still knows how to have some fun. This isn't meant to be serious. It's a dumb spoof of the classic Budweiser Super Bowl ads
Another trailer will come soon enough for everyone to complain about π

Street art spotted in Paris. π¨
HEY THAT'S MY CAT! GIVE HIM BACK!
Wonder Woman defends herself from a Nazi as portrayed by Lynda Carter.
Some people were confused by my ICE post. This should clear it up.
Broke: Hating Filoni because he made a TV show you didn't like
Woke: Hating Filoni because he replaces every green lightsaber with a blue one whenever humanly possible
Honestly idrc who runs LFL, I'm just tired of him swapping every Jedi's blue saber for green. He has to be doing it for spite smh
MU is great, but every time I'm reading big runs or events I just think about how much easier it is having whole volumes & omnibus collections on DCU Infinite
If the top MU tier gave me omnibuses (and new comics 1 month after release like DC) I'd upgrade immediately
Auston Matthews, the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, is a fan of THE ACOLYTE π
βI thought it was greatβ¦ It leaves you wanting more, and then when they tell you that thereβs no more, youβre, like, well, that sucks, right?β

Finally getting around to seeing peak (bonus Mando & Grogu cameo)
#WakeUpDeadMan @rianjohnson.bsky.social
Movie youβve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar
THIS IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT I COULD ASK FOR!!!!!
I love having Marvel Unlimited to read comics at work, but *man* the 3-month delay for new comics can be rough, especially waiting for Legacy of Vader (or any new @charlessoule.bsky.social comic)
I know, but I can still dream π
Begging, pleading, and sobbing for a crumb of Jedi 3 news ππ
Love the Batman Beyond vibes of this
Which reminds me, I'll never forgive WB for not greenlighting a BB movie from the Spider-Verse team π
HELLO
Out of all the Disney+ shows, Kenobi is the only one I've actually sat down & watched just to watch it. Not doing a rewatch for any specific reason or for an upcoming project
I love Mando, but Kenobi is the best self contained adventure despite its flaws
