Yeah, I hiked the ECT this weekend, all near the ocean. The last few snowshoeing runs have been in the woods near Octagon and Rocky pond... It was awesome, even when windy.
A great day for it... Yet I can't agree with your comment about the wind though 😀

Well, I thought it was drizzly and miserable out, but it was just fog... with no wind! Beautiful night out.
Yup, right beside the ocean at least. The trail is pretty much all snow and ice packed down by boots and snowshoes, but much less than 'interior' of course.

Yup. I usually stay away from the young trees that have those 'sink' holes around them. Now the snow is so hard, that I can even go over those. There are some holes though and u get an idea of how high you're up.

I've shoveled out heat pumps, door ways and a dog pee zone a few times today. It seems to be a waste of time... It drifts right back in within a half hour or so.
