Think of all the hurt Man City have piled on Liverpool in recent years.
Today, #LFC are favourites and City are on their worst run under Pep. Itβs the opportunity of a lifetime.

Wrote this a couple of weeks ago on the upcoming end of Man City's winning era.
Pep has signed a new deal since, but there are multiple issues looming which need to be resolved. The end of the cycle is coming and there's no getting away from it.

I wouldn't have thought so because it's so separate. What's real though is winning loads of trophies for years with the same manager and the same message. How long can you expect to maintain it before something needs to change? They're several steps off their normal selves that's for sure though.
Said at the start of the season I thought we going to witness the end of Manchester City's PL dominance for good.
Now they've lost 5 in a row, a generation of winners are at the end of their cycle, and they've got a court case looming over them threatening their status in the league. Interesting.
Scott is a proper United fan. Heβs never toxic, fair in his assessment and a non-sensational journalist. Support our fellow fan. Give him a follow π₯
Ruben Amorim talks a bloody good game.
I talked about him talking a bloody good game on the new Promised Land podcast, available now on YouTube, Spotify & Apple #MUFC

Just wonderful
Iβm trying to imagine if theyβll work as a front four
If he continues like he is heβs going number one
Introduce yourself with four footballers.
Great rake - as always - by @scottsaunders.bsky.social
Love how he speaks and his confidence. His promise combined with a team above him that prioritises winning instead of money should hopefully mean the corner is turnedβ¦finally.
Hey BlueSky, Iβm writing for Sports Illustrated. Sharing a new piece on Ruben Amorim and what he has to do to fix up Manchester United, who have been aggressively failing for over 11 years.
Shares and opinions appreciated.
