I have this problem too. Are you using the USB cord that came with the mic? I wasn't and switching to a more reputable brand helped.

If you have the same model as me you can also use both an aux cord and a USB cord, so the USB only has to deliver power.

I am, let's say, not an expert on this sorta thing, but shouldn't you plan for "what happens if this spirals out of control" before you bomb a country and kill their leader?

COLUMBUS, Ohioβ€”State officials on Monday approved a $4.5 million-plus sales tax exemption to land a $136 million data center expansion in Northeast Ohio, creating 10 new full-time jobs.

I wonder if there's a connection between the lack of any stupid rules of engagement and the US/Israeli missile strikes that killed eighty or ninety schoolchildren 36 hours ago.

Addressing Our K-Shaped Democracy The Kettering-Gallup Democracy for All Project findings show that even amid widening civic divides, communities can spark renewalβ€”revealing powerful pathways for rebuilding trust in democracy.

I have a new piece for @kettering.org on polling results exploring Americans' views on, and confidence in, democracy.

For all the worry over hyper-partisanship and polarization, I argue that there is another less visible threat: non-voter apathy and cynicism.

New from @dwj88.bsky.social: Survey data from Kettering and Gallup show Americans overall committed to democracy, but under the hood, particular groups express disaffection and discontent. Understanding who they are is critical for democratic reform. kettering.org/addressing-o...

The Pentagon Feuding With an AI Company Is a Very Bad Sign Anthropic doesn’t trust this administration with its technologyβ€”and it has a point.

My thoughts in @foreignpolicy.com abt escalating feud btwn Anthropic & Pentagon

πŸ‘‰Hegseth claims fight is abt who gets final say--private firms or gov

πŸ‘‰But that's a distraction

πŸ‘‰Bigger Q: can Trump be trusted to responsibly oversee military AI tech?

πŸ‘‰My view: no

Masnick: "This is what so many of us kept pointing out throughout the 'Twitter Files' hysteria: the 'free speech' grift was never about protecting individuals from the state. It was about protecting a specific type of speaker from the social consequences of their speech."

Opinion | OpenAI Is Making the Mistakes Facebook Made. I Quit.

"But we still have time to work them out to avoid the two outcomes I fear most: a technology that manipulates the people who use it at no cost, and one that exclusively benefits the few who can afford to use it." - former OpenAI researcher ZoΓ« Hitzig.

I struggle with this as a panel organizer. If you invite a diverse group of five people and only the men say yes, you're left very obviously trying to balance your lineup and last minute invitees knows why you're approaching them. It's not meant to be insulting but it risks seeming that way. :/
