Tytus is outside for the first time since autumn and he’s so happy exploring his outdoor enclosure, even though barely anything is currently growing in it.

Oh great. Both of them are “helping” with PT today. #blessed

Today’s plan is to glue these tiles down. And I ordered more supplies because there are only so many old Scrabble boards available.

I paint them, seal them, glue them and seal the letters. It’s a whole process.

Lots of talk about Revelation lately.

As soon as I lie on my exercise mat to do PT exercises for my knee, his happens.

Every time.

So I simultaneously do my clam shells & play fetch because I’m a good multitasker.

It’s really getting gorgeous as she grows!

Tytus is mostly full-grown. She will probably be a little bigger than him. She’s a Hermann’s tortoise but she’s a Dalmatian subspecies. They’re a bit smaller than the Eastern, which is the kind we mostly see around here.

The first pic is Tilly at around 2 months old next to a Werther’s and the second is Tilly, who 8 months old, next to a different Werther’s.

She’s still teeny tiny, but she used to be teeny tinier! 🥹

It will be memorable in more ways than one. I bet they’re having a great time despite everything. They’d better bring you a souvenir, like a really good one. 😉

Tortoise food prep looks different in the winter—no weeds or flowers outside of what I grow myself. Today they had dandelion, collard green, and spring mix (no spinach.) I just reset my Aerogarden so nothing from there yet. They also have chia plants and I’m growing clover.

He was on fire. Too bad it’s only because he’s leaving. Better late, than never. I especially appreciated when he lectured her for killing her dog.
