This obviously comes from the attitude the work is for a good cause money is secondary, like in the end we still have to run our homes, it doesn't matter how fancy the JD is if the money is not enough to sustain one's family why should one even go through the application process
I have been looking out for vacancies in non-profit organisations both within the country and overseas for my partner and one thing I noticed is that indian non-profit organisations in their JD will never mention the salary that they are offering. I find it extremely shady
