It amazes me a lot of folx don’t necessarily view classism as a form of oppression or violence. This is rooted in thinking that experiencing poverty/being poor is somehow indicative of a persons character or moral failing instead of systemic oppression. And, there’s trauma that comes with that. /1

Thought of the Day: The hair dryer blew my grocery list into the sink. The paper got wet. I had to use the hair dryer to dry it. Literally, the thing that caused the problem became the solution. The hair dryer is me.

I understand that I am supposed to quilt first, then bind the edges, but know this about me - I will always go rogue when crafting. I defy the rules and happily accept the consequences. Hasty imperfection is my vibe. It brings me joy. My truth is I like quilting the least about quilting.
