Well the “Heidi method” is conceptualizing an efficient, effectively workflow then realizing the amount of time to build it will be 10xRamonMethod (1/time unit).

Glad to know I’m not the only one! Your approach sounds solid though. I wonder how hard it would be to code up a workflow to automate the web crawling to search research group websites and publication funding acknowledgements…

What advice do you have for a new/future faculty member trying to map out funding prospects? Are there any comprehensive resources to help identify opportunities behind the more obvious ones (NIH MIRA, NSF CAREER)?

Truly wish I could remember who from the old site originally posted this. It was a woman studying chemistry somewhere in the Midwest if I recall. One of the best #ChemSky drawings I had seen there. h/t to the original owner wherever you may be. Anyone recall who it was?
