angel sits in the foreground, looking incredibly disgruntled. his new wings are fluffed up in aggravation. “why am i still old and fat?” he despairs. in the background, a demonic maribelle is harassing the now human harvey, who backs off from her with a panicked expression. maribelle swings her flail around with a menacing grin on her face. “i… i’m sorry! i’m sorry for teasing you!” harvey exclaims. “just stay back!!”

My favorite spooky girls. People request Darkstalkers from me often so I wanted to make something that felt definitive.

a top down view of a desert with a large, gaping crack in the sand. a bird flies in the air above the rift. zoom in on a small pebble that begins to shake as a loud rumbling sounds from under the ground, only for a massive plume of red smoke to suddenly erupt from the rift. away from the rift, a small walled town sits. the citizens hear and feel the rumbling, looking in the direction of the noise with concerned expressions. at the far edge of the town stands a large watchtower, with a sentry stationed with a telescope. he stares through the scope, seeing the plume of smoke slowly rising into the sky, taking his eye away from the scope with an alarmed expression.

the sentry sounds the watchtower’s horns, blaring throughout the town. pandemonium explodes out in the town, with dozens of people running and shoving each other aside to try to reach shelter. in the far end of the crowd, a mysterious cowboy with a red cape walks in the opposite direction of the crowd. cutting back to the rift in the canyon, a gnarled, rotting green hand bursts out from the rift, revealing a large horde of undead cowboys emerging from the earth towards the town.

back in the panicking town, the cowboy continues towards the walls of the town, pushing past grabbing hands and losing her red cape in the process, revealing that she is missing an arm. as she reaches the town’s wall, the entrance is already opened, with that same red smoke now pouring into the town, with silhouetted figures cloaked within it. she stares at the approaching enemy with a fearful yet determined expression, pulling out a pistol to face the incoming horde that is now bursting through the entrance.
