I was just thinking about this last night when chatting with another IT nerd. "How did it get so much worse?" It started with everyone learning SEO, it ended with AI. The common thread, capitalism. I usually start on Wikipedia now, that works about half the time.

I have some leads. Thing one is that I forgot that you need to patch HD SC Setup to work with non-apple drives. That is why it's not seeing the SCSI2SD.
Thing two is a couple settings that were not explicitly called out but I've noticed in screenshots.

I found a stack of 800k install disks, but the internal drive is being flaky. Luckily I have a couple external 800k drives for my IIgs. But I’m beginning to think that the scsi2sd may not work with the SE. Or something else is broken. #marchintosh
I feel your pain. I'm not shaped like the people on TV. I'm also not someone who sews (except for punk patches).
But I've seen people shaped like me in cosplay, you can make it happen if you really want to.

In the ideal case, yes. But reality has shown that “whoever gets the most votes, wins” end with two big parties. Sometimes one of them will swap out with a third party. There’s a whole series of videos there. Grey is very objective about the subject.

After two fails with SE/30s I decided to try the SE with the Warp 030 upgrade card. The HDD took a couple tries but now we’re moving. Time to image it to the SCSI2SD if I can figure that out.

My thoughts exactly! If I'm allowed to walk, the beers are 12oz cans, and the tacos are soft corn tortillas 6" or less, this is easy.
