Gifs are always awful quality so here's the video version as well. I don't know if it loops on here, but it'd be great if it does!
Did a little practice building IK armatures, I'm definitely improving. Also my first ever looping gif! Pretty cool! Factorio inspired, of course! #blender
Needed to practice rigging and adding controls, so I modelled the Minecraft bee from scratch. Besides the body texture, this is all me. Pretty happy with it!
We #blender bowling now
Tysm! I'm not used to having really any traction on my posts so I'm so happy to hear that!
Fun fact, blender's colour picker lets you choose the X and Y grid colours and I think that's just awesome
Hey, any #blender experts?? I've got this weird bug where my world grid turns into a trampoline, any advice?? Maybe I need to clear some kind of cache or something?
I'm still here, I haven't given up on Blender! I've just been busy experimenting and honing away. I've been busy sculpting a character model! In the meantime, here's a nice rigid body sim of some packing peanuts in a box! Might be a test for a larger project, we'll see! #blender

A 3D render of a spool of red thread, a blue and yellow clothing button, and a red button stacked on top of a black button. A sewing needle sits between all the scattered objects.
The reflections could be better on the tin but I'm very happy with the thread! Points to anyone who recognizes what tin specifically the sewing equipment is being stored in! #blender
A 3D render of a stack of Vinderbucks, the virtual currency from Fortnite
Okay, final final fixed version, I promise! The lip of the V-buck lights was just a little too high up for my liking. All fixed now!
It blows me away how versatile rigging is. I wanted to try my hand at a manual rig, so here's a very very square guy extruded from just a cube. It's crazy that you can just put a personality on anything.
A rendered empty wine glass in front of a green backdrop
While I couldn't quite nail the dark refraction, I am happy with managing to get a pretty nicely flowing model.
A voxel landscape with many varied heights of cubes
Messing around with geometry nodes
3D Render of a Fortnite Medkit stood by itself in a field of grass on a sunny day
I've been enjoying going on a bit of a blender binge these past couple of weeks, which unfortunately for anyone on my profile means I WILL be posting a lot of things I've rendered. Sorry! #blender
The silver lining is whether most of the original vision before this change happened is preserved. The game may still be good through what's already made, but I wouldn't be surprised if bug fixes are de prioritized or promises are broken.
It's over for Subnautica 2. Quickest unwishlist in the west. I'm sure anyone in the loop has heard by now, but all of their founders were let go. We know beat by beat what happens next, because it always does.
It does surprise me how many people are outwardly skeptical of the game's early access state though. The original game was very barebones from the beginning as well. It seems that people have forgotten what Early Access is meant for. Great games like Subnautica started much the same way. (2/2)
Excited to see what Keen Software House does with Space Engineers 2. A lot of the gripes I had with the original game seemed far too 'baked in' to be fixed with a mere update, so i'm very optimistic. A unified grid system and a higher speed cap is already a great start. (1/2)
Late to the party, just updated to 9.1 but the bulk of my praise goes to 9.0
Good job with the java mangement thing, that was really annoying to deal with when I wanted to spin up a new instance quickly, ngl.
Explaining to delete intermediary mappings for less skilled modders was a hassle too.
Fun Minecraft fact: Did you know it can take over 1,000 attempts to get a villager to offer efficiency V at an affordable price? Neither did I, yet here we are.
bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-50...
In case you didn't know, Mojang is planning to hamstring technical players once again by patching void trading. This is rather disappointing considering they should be fixing bugs that actually make the game worse, rather than bothering technical players...
You know what's crazy? My first post yesterday had more engagement than my entire twitter account's history (At least 5+ years.)
In Minecraft Java, if you're sprinting at your target before you attack them, you can strike them while sprinting to deal additional knockback. You'll hear a whoosh!
Hello Bluesky. It's good to be here.
Did you know the Protection enchantment in Minecraft is a magical protection that helps reduce incoming damage from indirect sources, like drowning, poison and fall damage? Couple it with a respiration III helm and you can easily stay underwater indefinitely.
That bartender looks really familiar, is it based on someone?
