My lunch break #ttrpg today was Ghost Beacon by @exeunt.press. Holy crap, what a mix of tabletop and journaling game! "Why did they bring this algae to the surface? Why DID they?!" It's been a pleasure, Gliese 667-CF...
Yes, definitely! It's my go-to suggestion to people who ask for the first non-journaling solo ttrpg (as in "I cannot shut up when I start talking about it when nobody asked).
A robot head profile. Black eyes. Three mics in the visible ear with wires going to the back of the head.
March of Robots, day 6. While we worry about cameras spying on us, there are still robots that #listen.
Today's theme was a great pretext for me to try head drawing. A few tutorials later I am very happy about it! #marchofrobots #marchofrobots2026
[inventing the hot air balloon] I don't give a fuck where I go
Great game! I still didn't have a chance to play the extended version, but it sounds very promising as well.
A card in the game Bloc by Bloc, reading Chief of Police Fired —Reshuffle all other police ops cards —Then place this card as the first in the discard pile
In the game "Bloc by Bloc," which dramatizes the experience of participating in an insurrection, there is a "chief of police fired" card. When you draw this card, you gain nothing—you simply reshuffle all the cards in the police strategy deck and continue playing.

A drawing of a robot holding a yellow umbrella under rain. Digital inking.
March of Robots, day 5! Some folks may be singing in the rain but robot-people should take care of themselves. Get an umbrella, little dude!
Drawing boxes pays off! Umbrella was hard though and my gf gave me feedback on quite a few versions of it. #marchofrobots
the first part of a subtitled video of a bird of paradise and David Attenborough. the subtitles begin: [Video of venerable TV naturalist David Attenborough standing amid vegetation. On a near-horizontal branch above his head is a brown and yellow greater bird of paradise, about the size of a crow, with big floaty yellow plumage puffing out along its back.] Bird: Pwuk. Pwuk. Venerable TV naturalist David Attenborough: This, surely – Bird (hopping along the branch): WUKWUKWUkwukwukwukoooh. Oooh. Oooh. [Cut. Same shot.] Venerable TV naturalist David Attenborough: This, surely, is one – Bird: Kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark kark it continues at the link.

Crowned Bender from Futurama series. Three (bad) sketches on the side.
March of Robots, day 4: crown. I tried myself at the one and only crowned robot. Bend the knee before Bender the king!
Proportions are all wrong, but I tried my best to draw from memory. #marchofrobots
I have just released a LUMEN RPG supplement called "The Old Barrel Gives the Sweetest Smoke": ka1ikasan.itch.io/the-old-barr.... Thanks @gilarpgs.bsky.social for such a cool TTRPG system!
Obviously, *from Fallout 4
I am not saying I am a huge nerd. However, I have spent a few evenings porting all 48 legendary weapon effects Fallout 4 to LUMEN #ttrpg system by @gilarpgs.bsky.social. Will release as soon as I have some drawings done. #WIPWednesday
When someone says „Scientists do not want you to know“ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.

Today it’s been two years since I discovered solo RPGs, and I’ve bundled Helan+Masked Artist at 56% off. 🥳
Hoy cumplo 2 años desde que descubrí los solo RPG y creé un bundle de Helan+Masked Artist al 56%. 🎲📝

A tank of liquid nitrogen with a cocktail glass filled with liquid nitrogen near it.
Day 3 of #marchofrobots 2026! What refreshment could a robot enjoy in summer? A glass of liquid nitrogen of course!
I still learn how to draw basic forms and very basic rendering. Metal looks a little better now even though it's a bit flat.

I'm trying myself at #marchofrobots2026. Damn it's hard!

A screenshot of an email from an ad agency to Evil Hat Marketing: Hey Evil Hat team, Promised this is the last time you’ll hear from me. We are wrapping up generating content on the house. The AI studio is starting to get fully booked with our paying clients, and I have strict orders to stop promoting this come the weekend. I figured Evil Hat might as well get some work out of us at no cost while you can. Want in before we close it up? Best, [redacted] And then our reply: Hi [redacted], We will never use AI for our games or for our marketing. It's toxic to our customer audience and it's an ethical violation of the hard work put in by the human artists we hire to illustrate our books and the human writers who design our games. In short, it's not "free work" it's theft. Feel free to take me off your mailing list. Hope you turn around your business model because frankly, your current approach sucks shit. -Tom
sometimes you have to be clear about your values
Solo journaling setup for Ice, Snow and the Quest for Salvation. Journal, icy dice, pdf on one screen and ambience music on another one. Antique bottle of water and a pouch of provisions are complete fluff.
Just played a solo session of Ice, Snow and the Quest for Salvation by @ratinasuit.bsky.social. Not all crew members made it through but some of us are now safe. It had much more tension than I expected!
I agree on that on the long run (which inevitably happens with roguelites): you never ever take hits on purpose in order to trigger a perk. Is there anyone who does that? I only happen to take such upgrades sometimes when I start playing a game and still not very proficient with movement mechanics.
Almost six years ago, we had the release party for MÖRK BORG. We hung out, talked about the game, played it, recited the prophecy, and burned the first copy (and had a beer or eleven). No idea what would come.
Days later, lockdown happened, and the world shut off. Some pretty weird times followed.
Definitely! However, some games call for more cool-beer-burn parties tha others: how would you see "Apothecaria" or "We are but worms" launch parties?
99% of rpg zines and books should have page numbers.
And that's just the start. There's actually a lot of technique and intentionality behind things like page numbers, running headers, etc.
Let me know what you think!

Thanks for the opportunity! I've recently released a LARP-like solo game where you pretend to infiltrate your own workplace and do shady stuff there. Wanna be a spy? A secret agent? A giraffe in a trench coat? Grab Intruder here: ka1ikasan.itch.io/intruder. I draw everything so 100% human made!
