The male was served with an arrest warrant for Attempted First-Deree Murder at the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was being held on a handgun violation charge.
The male was arrested in connection with the shooting of an 18-year-old female, who was located at an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. It was later determined the victim was shot in the 500 block of W. Hoffman Street.
Western District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Western District on August 12, 2025, detectives have arrested a 17-year-old male of Baltimore.

Homicide Detectives are seeking assistance with the investigation into the murder of Mr. Kennth Lawson (seen in the video clips) that occurred on January 22, 2022. Mr. Lawson was found deceased with a single gunshot wound on the entrance ramp of 295 southbound at Westport.
The victim asked the suspect to get out when the suspect implied he was armed w/ a firearm. The victim got out of the car & the suspect fled in the car. Officers located the car & suspect later parked at a gas station.The suspect, a 37-year-old male, was arrested without incident.
On March 2, 2026, at approx. 10:56 pm, officers responded to the 1900 block of Wilkens Avenue for an armed carjacking.
Upon arrival, officers met a victim who stated he was in his car, a red 2026 Toyota Corolla, when the suspect got into the rear seat & requested a car charger.
