as someone who has read the murderbot series like 1000 times now (4, but I'm getting there) I'm very impressed that the changes they made in the show still felt RIGHT for the series. Glad its getting a season 2!

I will say that, as repugnant as I find the ban and subsequent takeover of tiktok, it has helped to reduce my screen-time by more than half. Which will certainly help me reach my reading goals this year.

Books 2 and 3 this year: "The Fifth Season," by N.K. Jemisin was a reread with a book club. Even better the second time around! And "Rouge," by Mona Awad, a literary horror novel with confusing but beautiful prose that uses beauty standards to haunt the reader.
