Not all of us have large pools of money to draw from or fancy jobs that pay a lot. Alot of us are barely making ends meet. A lot of us do art to escape our immediate reality. Clout means nothing when you’re dead.

Your net value will never define your art. Please remember that.

It’s funny how as an artist, other artists will treat you differently if you don’t have absurd amounts of money to front for tours, projects, etc. stop that. What we should be doing is encouraging a more DIY attitude so that the things we pay for can be done ourselves. ✌️

Being middle aged is a blessing and a curse but one thing I really like about it is not having the anxiety and insecurity of my youth. It’s not completely gone but it isn’t anywhere near how bad it was when I was like 20-25.

In other news, I have had to slow my roll with music for a second while I fix my voice but I’ll be back soon with tons of new music. Please standby lads and lassies.

The last few times I’ve played live I’ve done this thing where I pour water on my head with my ski mask on in hopes that it will go through the top and cool me down. This doesn’t work, in fact it contributes to my mask smelling horrible from sweat the next day.
