We need to show fellow voters that we canβt trust Christian Right political candidates to tell us what voting for them means for our rights & freedoms. Even if they tell us which beliefs & goals they have relinquished, can we trust them?

Such beautiful trees. Hope you'll find a similar walk at your new home.

Woodside is looking for a new CEO, so we thought we'd lend them a hand π
Developer: We're good guys, honest. 60% of our apartments will be affordable. Can you fast-track approval?
State Govt: OK.
D: Can we build 16 storeys in a 10-storey zone?
SG: Well, since you're good guys... OK.
D: Haha, sucked in! Only 20% will be affordable.

Old enough to remember Rupert Murdoch saying the illlegal 2003 bombing and invasion of Iraq (to seize its oil after a disinfo campaign about nuclear weapons) would drop oil to $20 a barrel and thus a booming economy. Millions of Iraqis died. OIl prices went upπΊπΈπ°π€.

The association between building works and Aspergillus infection in immunocompromised people is well established. I wonder what precautions they took given this is a known problem.
As most will turn away in horror from even the thought of ocean acidification, pls forgive my pedantry when I say we physically CANNOT fight againstβ it, nor can we βcombat climate changeβ or βact on climateβ. We can only fight those making it worse: Shell, Exxon, Peabody, Adani, Santos, Aramco.
I regularly get people telling me how nice it is in Yarraville now with truck bans, to which I respond: βHow nice for them.β The equivalent of throwing your dog poop over the neighbours fence and admiring your clean lawn.
I guess in the winners and losers transport game we are the losers.
And it's not dangerous for active transport at all!

A new species of moth, found at Toolangi during a bioblitz. One of the shield-bearer family, it is black and white and very small. It also looks really pissed off Forest Fire Management wants to burn its habitat.
Unlike the aforementioned moth, this moss has a name: Calyptrochaeta apiculata. It has a curious lattice-like look and a distinct border around the edges.
A new species of moth and a rare moss, both found during our bioblitz along a track in Toolangi lined with tree ferns. The government is planning to set this forest on fire.
Kinglake Friends of the Forest had a bioblitz recently at Toolangi, in an area soon to be burnt by Forest Fire Management Victoria. A new species of moth and a rare species of moss were discovered.
FFMV don't survey before they burn.

Cβmon, what about all the investments in submarines Australia never received or contracts with Palantir? Surely the average Australian knows the ALP truly has their best interests at heart?
Australia, you are being scammed! #IEEFA shows Japanese export 40% of Aussie gas exports. Yep, they on-sell our gas for a profit while the corporations cry poor about tax and royalties and gas shortages @kimwingerei.bsky.social

So politicians want school kiddies to be taught more βAustralian valuesβ?
Which ones are those? Alcoholism, toxic masculinity, colonialism, anti-science, anti-expert, ecocide, racism, genocide of First Nations peoples, banning public protest, profit at the expense of affordable homes?
Which ones?
