Screenshot of text: "As Musk and Yaccarino try and turn the company around, there are growing signs they want to make X a shopping destination. For instance, X managers are considering ways of using direct messages on the platform to offer one-click checkout to X users, according to three people familiar with the situation."
This will definitely not be used for scams. Not at all.
I tried to get a Google Voice number a couple of months ago and literally couldn't get one. I tried every state, picked random area codes from low population areas, and couldn't find a single number available. So it seems like it might already be killed for new users?
Now just saw a character flip through a book by Terry Pratchett. π₯Ή
Well since they JUST rebranded to Xβ¦heβs technically not lyingβ¦. π
I took it off my menus a while ago - I donβt even have an icon at all anymore.
Just started Good Omens 2 on Amazon Prime todayβ¦ @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com hasnβt been able to do promotion with the strike so Iβll do my small part. This is SO GOOD! If you even slightly enjoyed the first series or the book, do yourself a favor and watch the sequel now!
Ooh that's helpful! Thanks! I can also turn them off altogether!

My feed right now is fairly quiet from people I actually know and mostly filled with posts and replies from a couple of famous folks I like. I do wish that there was a way to not see every reply they give because they're interacting with fans which is great, but not super interesting to me.
Living near Regentβs Park (and the US Ambassadorβs residence) seems cool until there is a Presidential visit and you get to enjoy the sounds of constant helicopters circling for 2 days straightβ¦ ππππ€«
No lie, I literally had the shower thought 2 days ago of "What was the greatest thing before sliced bread?"
I now know it was apparently wrapped bread! Now I wonder what the greatest thing was before that...
My other major thing is, my Twitter social graph and my Instagram social graph are very different and the topics I post about are very different. I donβt know if I really want to merge the two π¬
Iβve missed having a place to post important thoughts like this:
This coffee carafe is wrong. Donβt use red to indicate βopenβ and blue to indicate βclosedβ!
This feels like going to a college reunion...scrolling through finding people and being like "Oh hey! You're here! How fun!" π
In like, 15 years and only if you pay for a premium tier?
π I just made it! Happy to see the product crew!
Wow. So Jack sold Twitter and then just rebuilt it? This feels exactly like the old place from a UI perspective...let's see how it goes!
