There’s always talk about how jaded with institutions and power conglomerates gen z/alpha is, but I’m not seeing this in my students. In discussion of targeted advertising, nearly all say approx, “advertisers just want to make people happier by showing them things they want!” Confusing.

There is no way to describe how dweeby I was in hs. My hobbies were my robotics team, fish breeding, and a toastmasters club that *i started*. One of my best friends made his own chainmail, just to wear, not for cosplay.

Of all the social media sites/blogs you’ve participated in, which was your least favorite? For me, MySpace, hands down. Never got into it at all. All vibes, no content.
