As an aside I'm not going to post any photos of this thing, mostly because it is pretty gross. I will probably show the finished project when/if it's all prettied up and clean.

I just hope it's far enough away off the property that it doesn't stink. I don't think it will since it was pretty much picked clean other than tendon and the deer's face.

Change of plans. the carcass was WAY bigger and heavier than i thought, so the whole thing is getting chucked into the woods. Hopefully some scavengers and bugs can clean it off and come the spring/summer I can go back and give it a better cleaning than I could now.

the only thing that looks like it's missing are the leg bones, but the head still has a lot of the meat still on it, so I'm going to try and clean it. the rest of the skeleton is pretty clean though so it shouldn't be too hard to scour and bleach.

So one of my neighbors had a deer die in her yard right before the big snow storm earlier this year, and now that the snow's melted pretty much all of it is exposed and it's more or less picked clean other than the head. I'm going to try and clean it and see what I can do with it.

finally broke down and bought me a wet palette for my miniature painting, and maybe also other types of painting. It's pretty small so I might take it with me if i can every get out to do plein air stuff. Also I have another thing to cover in stickers.

I'd really like something 'italian', just not sure what. It's down to the crest of the town my grandfather came from, a cimaruta, or maybe just like, a cannoli. Also starting to very much consider getting a warhammer tattoo but that's still a big maybe.

I'd really like to get another tattoo soonish. I wanted to get one for my birthday but that didn't really pan out, so now I'm going to just book for something hopefully in the spring. It'll probably be some flowers, but i'd like something to balance out the one i have on my forearm.

Finished watching A Knight of Seven Kingdoms earlier today. Reminded me of the ren faire and then very quickly reminded me it was also a story in ASOIAF. Still really liked it tho. I want to see Peter Claffey in other stuff.

I still remember when I worked as a sales associate, and I had a pretty good interaction with a customer. I was polite, and conversational, upsold, etc. My manager comes over and tells me I didn't do a good job, because I didn't say 'thank you' at the end of the conversation. I nearly walked out.
