You remember being a child or ignorant, not a golden time of great politicians. Good job growing up πŸ‘

How about less stupid catchphrases to sell books and just making things people actually want that doesn’t destroy the planet?

Forgiveness for the unforgivable is something religion came up with to whitewash the abuses they inflict. It is morally imperative not to forgive crimes against humanity

You do not have to support those who support child rapists and fascists. Not ever. Not under any circumstance. It’s just a goddam game.

No, not everyone needs incentives not to rape or kill or hurt others. You are telling on yourself.

The stats come from the dept of justice, so go argue with them.

24.02.2026 21:52 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

You are now arguing men (99% of rapists) need incentives not to rape. This is called rape culture and you’ve embodied it perfectly.

24.02.2026 20:23 πŸ‘ 6 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

99% of perpetrators are male. 2% are convicted. 80% are known to the victim. (US dept of Justice). Fuck you for making this about maga like it’s some stupid conspiracy against a group. The group is men. Men.

24.02.2026 20:10 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

It is not distracting to identify perpetrators and name the patterns. Most rapists are ordinary men who the victims trusted. Those are facts. Justice is equal rights, not protecting β€œordinary” men whatever the gaslighting fuck that means.

Oh thank god you’ve mentioned one woman so we don’t have a skewed perspective that the vast majority of sexual crimes are committed by men

Feed algorithms are widely suspected to influence political attitudes. However, previous evidence from switching off the algorithm on Meta platforms found no political effects'. Here we present results from a 2023 field experiment on Elon Musk's platform X shedding light on this puzzle. We assigned active US-based users randomly to either an algorithmic or a chronological feed for 7 weeks, measuring political attitudes and online behaviour. Switching from a chronological to an algorithmic feed increased engagement and shifted political opinion towards more conservative positions, particularly regarding policy priorities, perceptions of criminal investigations into Donald Trump and views on the war in Ukraine. In contrast, switching from the algorithmic to the chronological feed had no comparable effects.
Neither switching the algorithm on nor switching it off significantly affected affective polarization or self-reported partisanship. To investigate the mechanism, we analysed users' feed content and behaviour. We found that the algorithm promotes conservative content and demotes posts by traditional media. Exposure to algorithmic content leads users to follow conservative political activist accounts, which they continue to follow even after switching off the algorithm, helping explain the asymmetry in effects. These results suggest that initial exposure to X's algorithm has persistent effects on users' current political attitudes and account-following behaviour, even in the absence of a detectable effect on partisanship.

A new paper shows that less than 2 months of exposure to Twitter’s algorithmic feed significantly shifts people’s political views to the right.

Moving from chronological feed to the algorithmic feed also increases engagement.

This is one of the most concerning papers I’ve read in awhile.

Turns Out There Was Voter Fraud in Georgiaβ€”by Elon Musk The state board of elections found Musk’s PAC sent prefilled ballot applications.

The story that Elon Musk committed voter fraud has gotten next to no coverage -- one of those things you can't make come up on a Google search.

But I think it's time for Dems to go on offensive abt right wing coddling of this immigrant interfering in our elections.

It all adds up. And the whole of the Trump Redux evil is greater than the sum of its malignant parts.

There is today a convergence of criminalityβ€”every bad thing everywhere all at once: amoral men & women of great means and influence, in league with Epstein & his child sex trafficking network...

Why don’t we talk more about how LLMs can do the job of a CEO, but can’t pick a vegetable, fix a broken arm, build a house, ring up your groceries, or anything that makes 800% less than a CEO who…makes decisions based on data?

We found out during the pandemic who was essential already.

Obviously anything can be abused but some things have speed and reach and larger impacts that make them a much greater threat and therefore require greater precautions against individuals misusing them. A stone can be dangerous but a nuclear weapon is much more so.
