I think I may have to give up on Sawbones, because while the conceit of a medical doctor learning about the history of medicine usually works just fine as a comedic frame, today it needed an actual historian to avoid swinging into really inaccurate sweeping statements about the past.

I think one of the worst quirks of online spaces is the idea that if someone doesn't post about something, they don't care about it. It encourages performative posting often makes things worse.
