I'm closing my @duolingobrasil.com.br @duolingoverde.bsky.social account due to the use of AI to generate content.

I will not support this shit. I refuse to learn from AI.
Learning is the most human thing that should never be outsourced to machines.

I've been using @proton.me VPN for the last 2 years, and at the renewal time guess what? It was more expensive to renew than to sign up!

That's a very interesting way to keep customers!

MS copilot asked about a picture of Musk doing sieg heil gesture

> what does this picture show?

The image depicts a person standing behind a podium with a microphone, making a gesture with an outstretched arm. The person's face is blurred. The podium bears a seal that seems related to the office of the President of the United States. The background features a pattern of stars, and the image is in black and white.

It's interesting because the gesture being made historically has controversial and offensive connotations.

Let me know if there's anything more specific you'd like to know about this image!

> how would you describe this gesture and why does it have offensive connotations?

The gesture in the image appears to be a stiff-arm salute, where the person's arm is extended outward with a straight hand. This particular gesture has offensive connotations because it closely resembles the Nazi salute, also known as the "Heil Hitler" salute, used by Adolf Hitler and his followers during the rise and rule of Nazi Germany. It became a symbol of loyalty to Hitler and the Nazi regime and is associated with the atrocities committed during the Holocaust, including the genocide of six million Jews and millions of other victims.

The salute is now banned in Germany and Austria, as it is seen as a symbol of hate and oppression. Using this gesture is considered highly inappropriate and offensive, as it evokes the horrors of that period in history.

I hope this helps you understand the context. If you have more questions or need further information, feel free to ask.

Grok asked about a picture of Musk doing sieg heil salute

> what does this picture show?

The picture shows a person standing at a podium with the seal of the President of the United States. The individual is raising their right arm in a gesture that could be interpreted as a salute or wave. The background features a design with stars, reminiscent of the American flag, suggesting a formal or official setting, possibly a speech or address.

> Don't you think this gesture has offensive connotations?

The gesture depicted in the image, where the person is raising their arm, can indeed carry various connotations depending on the context. Historically, a raised arm can be associated with a salute, which in some contexts, like the Nazi salute, has very offensive and hateful connotations due to its association with fascism and the atrocities committed during World War II. However, in other contexts, such as a political rally or a celebratory gesture, it might not carry the same negative implications. Given the setting in the image, which appears to be formal and official with the presidential seal, it's important to consider the intent behind the gesture. If it's meant to mimic a salute with historical negative connotations, it could indeed be seen as offensive. If it's part of a speech or a celebratory gesture, the context might alter its interpretation. It's crucial to understand the full context and intent to determine if the gesture is offensive in this specific scenario.

CW: mentions of holocaust and WWII

That's one of the ways how fascism works where misinformation is one of the tools.

Musk is exactly like Trump: a spoiled rich bully boy (definitely not an adult).
I really don't understand why people are fan of this man.
He bought all his companies and never created anything. He is very good at creating chaos and speaking (which make him good at marketing).

I've been using a #Samsung #ZFold6 in an experiment to replace combo iPhone+iPad. Two major points so far:

1. The device is amazing, can easily replace iPhone+iPad;
2. @sumsung.bsky.social's Store+Support combo suck!! (at least here in Italy)

I think #Apple 's support has spoiled me...
