There’s a hard cap on those who pay more to make sure there’s supply for what is the largest group attending the con. But since there’s such high demand and limited space, no matter how they divvy, people will not get what they want at all levels of payments.

The con is a non-profit, it relies on its supporters to continue existing. So it makes sense that those who can and have paid to help more than others get the benefits that come with that. But it’s not like they’re ignoring general members either.

It’s just a matter of trying to understand how these things are run and the scope of what is potentially being dealt with here. Not to mention people complaining it’s “pay to win.” Yes, that’s kinda the point.

And I’m saying this as someone who has only managed to get a room under the block once out of the five times I’ve been — and I’ve tried multiple times under gen admission, sponsor, and super sponsor. So it’s not like I haven’t ran the same experience.

Or go support smaller cons where you’re essentially guaranteed a room 🤷‍♀️ Like idk man this is a massive convention, it’s not possible to appease all or even streamline things much further than it already is. Unless something is brazenly mishandled there’s not much room to judge.

I don’t understand the people saying AC should implement a lottery system for rooms. Come MFF you’ll be complaining about that too. It’s an annual rotation at this point.

I’m all for AC implementing a better system but that’s kinda impossible for its size. Pick your poison.

We’ve heard a bunch of nightmare stories about Etsy. And were considering Kofi but, it doesn’t automatically incorporate sales tax.

What are some good alternatives to Etsy? Preferably ones that incorporate sales tax automatically.

My partner and I are thinking of opening a shop in the near future for small, physical goods (think badges, keychains, etc. with the largest items being TPU bases).

Brushing fur and cleaning out seams makes a huge difference because tell me why it looked like that beforehand 😭

Outside of canines and felines, what are some other species people would be looking for for TPU headbases for suits?

Trying to finish up 4 new suits for friends for AC delivery! Plus a new set of bird arms for a toothy crow I had finished up last year (I accidentally made the first sett too small - oops)!

Now that I have the ability to sculpt and print my own custom bases, I really do want to try and make a premade suit at some point, or at least head.
But I still consider myself a beginner at suit making and am not nearly as skillfully polished as other makers so, idk pricing 😭
