why is looking for images/videos/etc. feel so... bland lately? it feels like i'm getting facebook-ified results for almost everything, when i used to get them exactly on the nose. (ex. looking up specific memes via the Discord gifs tab doesn't get you that specific meme anymore)

— too. are they shifty, nervous, or confident? the thing they're fiddling with, does it look important? are they hiding it or nonchalant? what do they avoid? what is their presence in a room? i am thinking of writing in general as well, but i wonder if i'm just thinking too deeply lmao!

— valued a lot more? this isn't to say casual dialogue doesn't have meaning, of course. it's moreso that you can show a lot of emotion or personality with what is done more than if they say it imo. there is obviously a time and place for dialogue in writing. yet the lack of it also feels engaging —

still thinking bout a post i made a but ago about writing characters that do more than speak. i find it interesting to act out what a character does, their interactions with the environment, and letting when they do talk have meaning. unfortunately, when it comes to RP, it feels like speaking is—

Lone-Strider Kazhir, a masculine ethereal that wears black, gold and purple attire fitted to his form. His bandages do not fully cover him as is shown by the head, ribs and arms. He has sharp fingers, similar to claws, and a dagger that he has resting on the back of his waist. Reshii Ribbons are also wrapped around his left arm. The text below reads: Born in Ma'nussa, to the nomads of the Wilds and Wastes of K'aresh, Kazhir was used to a hard life. To explore the wonders of the world was a joy none could replace. He found solace in exploration until the Wasting fell upon the world. To be shackled beneath the safety of the many city-states felt like a ticking bomb, and when the people K'aresh were splintered, he dared to believe his life as a nomad could still bear purpose. And so, he became a lead phase diver, and explored the new frontier and mysteries that were thrown upon him.

finally gave form to my Ethereal, Kazhir. i gotta type up his personality and such, but i've been putting off giving him a ref!
