Well that was so Palace…. cruising at 2-0…. then 6 minutes of madness without any sign of leadership to regain composure and control of the game after their first goal. We remain requiring two more wins asap.

I know some believe that Eze made his Arsenal bed took the money and should now lie in it but this is such a waste of a talent that brought so much joy to our Club. 4 consecutive games on the bench and zero minutes played. World Cup aspirations are fading fast.

May well cost him a place in England’s World Cup squad. Eze needs regular games to maintain form and fitness. Let’s put in a cheeky £30m bid for him in January.

Just hope the uncertainty around OG’s future isn’t proving to be negative factor in any potential target signing. Johnson although arguably overpriced as per usual in the January market would be a real asset to the squad.

The greater damage is potential targets in January not signing because the current manager isn’t committing his future to our Club. I’m sure present squad will play with 100% commitment though. A professional responsibility to club and supporters.

Interesting that owners are seemingly looking at a potential replacement. I think a manager running a contract down is different from a player. A manager sets the whole environment at the training ground and on match days, tactical set up and overall direction of a club. I hope OG commits!

Much may depend on recruitment in January but not good for the Club looking further ahead to have a manager who is wanting out with 5 months of season still to run.

If he doesn’t commit even if we recruit really well in January, then pay up his contract and recruit a new manager? “The King is dead…. Long Live the King”? A conundrum for the owners. Looks like we are already looking at managerial options.

An interesting discussion topic…. what should happen if by mid-January OG shows no desire to sign a new contract? Consider the potential negative impact on player recruitment and team morale until end of season. Uncertainty isn’t a good position. #cpfc

Tough result to take but ultimately clinical finishing the difference. No complaints about the commitment shown by our players. Onwards we go to Thursday and hopefully the win required to finish in the top group. #cpfc

If we played only one up top then it would be Armstrong. He had all the essential qualities to play that role.

It was fine margins for me re Young and Cabaye. Jimbo was also hard as nails plus a real leader…. same goes for Thomas.

A great line up re selection and balance. Cannon might have made it alongside Guehi instead of Young. Plus maybe a toss up between Cabaye and Thomas. But that’s splitting hairs!

Infantino has brought the global beautiful game into disrepute. The whole ‘political’ event was a complete embarrassment.

Probably had more clear cut chances but with some players running on empty in latter stages of game a well earned point. Mitchell especially plus Canvot were outstanding. 🦅 #cpfc

It was a shambles. Dan and I were phase 2. Many saying it was sold out within 15 minutes of phase 1…. Club rep said to me within the hour. 1600 allocation went somewhere and I guess to some in the know. I’ve even given up on waiting list. 😏
