i’ve come to an impasse with my book. i’m too tired to write most days. most days i fall asleep the moment i open my laptop.

it feels unending. and like no matter what i do, the writing is chunky and missing all the good stuff

Might be an unpopular writing opinion? But I say YES to info-dumping in the first chapters of your first draft! Such a good way to organize what you want to include/trickle in in the first act with future drafts.
