Key for solo founders is not to get dragged into costs you can’t afford

If $20 is as much as you can pay someone to post, don’t be shy about it. Offer it. You never know

For us it’s $100 for 3 posts

We have similar thing at Bonjoro. Users need to connect data source (CRM usually) to trigger video tasks.

But lots of users come in and add contacts manually or upload CSV. Maybe we should limit these tho, hmm πŸ€”

P.S. Any tips of pushing that integration aha step? We use 1st empty state for it atm

There's a creator I follow on Insta who *constantly* gets asked to share the locations of the restaurants he reviews.

New feature launching at Bonjoro next week called Fallback Videos!

Here's my draft email launch plan.

Big advocate of different comms to match the users status/industry etc. Also to clarify the goal of each email, ie. reactivations vs. upselling.

What's your approach? What would you add to this?

Here’s what we did:

- Took an underused Bonjoro feature (Rollups)

- Used Plandalf to quickly launch a new upgrade experience

- Used Canva’s high-converting modal design (included in Plandalf)

- Made it so customers could make payment in modal vs new page

Conversion went from 4% to 25%!! 🀯

Example:

Google search intent breaks down into:

52.65% informational (seeking knowledge)
32.15% navigational (finding a login page/site)
14.51% commercial (product research)
0.69% transactional (ready to buy/sign up).

Focusing down hard on the performing [exact match] β€˜search terms’ is the key.

But you can’t find those easily without an early broad match β€˜keyword’ test phase IMO.

Agree. Unless you have v. high ACV, FB, LI etc will not work with an acceptable payback period, barring fucktons of VC cash.

GAds works for high intent keywords. Start with broad KWs. Identify search terms that = sales. Then bid exact match on those & scale spend slowly till diminishing returns

Example of this:

Immediately after Brexit I subscribed to the Telegraph to see how they were spinning the post-Brexit trade agreement discussions. It was eye opening to say the least.
