Ok. The pads are definitely not as important than just getting my voice tbh. It seems like I has to turn up my current dynamic mic too high, just to pick up my voice, which picks up the cabinet speakers pretty well. Even though I have a separate input for game audio.

Anybody have any recommendations for a dynamic microphone that will be used as a voice/pad mic? I want one that can be placed in between the cabinet and pads. I’m trying to avoid cabinet sound bleed, so I’ve been debating between cardioid vs supercardiod as well.
