The sun partially covered by the moon and surrounded by clouds. Taken through solar glasses, the clouds are dark and yellow. It feels ominous.
It ended up being much cloudier in upstate NY than expected, but I think this shot I got with my phone through some glasses is pretty cool.
Look like it’s going to be time to retire my copy of the 16th.

Scam solicitation alert: "literary agent" using email address @independentliteraryagents.com. The pitch: a major publisher wants your book. One author got fake offer letter & contract from PRH (first they had to pay for "book re-licensing"). Names associated w/ the scam: Chris Cortez, Adara Lopez
People do get too defensive of their “teams.” But I definitely think his main point is misguided. It’s not coddling a tool or using it gently to use it the way it’s supposed to be used and maintaining it properly. Saying “I can’t do whatever I want to it” isn’t valid criticism for any tool.
New at FOREVER WARS: I read the entire South Africa genocide case against Israel. Contrary to what the US and Israeli governments have said about it, it isn’t a frivolous or malicious document. It’s a deeply serious one that the entire world has to reckon with.
