More disappointing is that getting rid of these books will not turn it into the epitome of Nordic minimalism that I'd like it to be.
Yeah, it crossed my mind. I even thought of offering them on here for postage but again, hassle. A drive up the M6, an actual promenade on the promenade, then get rid of some books. Miles better.

Having a book sort out and tried one of those apps that buys books. Offers of 20p. A piss take. I think I'll take them up to the Old Pier Bookshop in Morecambe instead. A day out and my own contribution to the horrific fire that's bound to happen eventually.

Visited the Rose Wylie exhibition at the RA yesterday, and was enraptured. The work is what this world of AI needs: handmade, painted from memory with thick textured oil paint, full of mistakes glued and painted over. Rose gets the work done. Her aim isn't realism or perfection.

Not for me to say! It's been running for 17 years though, so there's lots to dip into. The earlier episodes are mainly three middle-aged guys talking about film photography and growing up in New Jersey. That is a good thing.
