2020, mitten in der Corona-Zeit, habe ich in meinem kleinen Husumer Studio einen eher spontanen Song gebastelt: „Händewaschen“. Man hatte ja plötzlich viel Zeit und wurde täglich daran erinnert, wie wichtig Hände waschen und desinfizieren ist. Mit etwas Abstand bleibt: Gute Handhygiene schadet nie.

Although the project Risikotoleranz didn’t exist at the time, I’m releasing these songs under that name now. Perhaps they deserve to be heard after all, rather than simply fading into obscurity.
Between 2005 and 2009, I created a handful of songs that I recently rediscovered. Using vintage synthesizers and drum machines, I recorded tracks like “Wasser,” an unusual take on “Silent Night” for the holiday season, as well as four instrumental demos.
