I remember back in my AWA-going days, gas tended to be much more expensive along Camp Creek Parkway (leading to the airport), likely catching a lot of rental car drivers like me off guard. I’d imagine the prices there today still give sticker shock (but not $8/gal shock)
That’s by the airport so yeah, it’s definitely gonna cost an arm and a leg especially for people returning their rental cars.

It’s not like Sony would want to pull a fast one on any participants, and a third party compliance company ensures nothing is being underhanded. All game shows have such third party compliance/legal departments to ensure the games are played fairly and that no side is taking advantage of the other.
(Without express written permission from Sony, of course, including a Materials Release form which Sony can provide)
I do remember the legaleze mentioned “non-exclusive but irrevocable and perpetual right” to use my likeness and such without further compensation beyond what I won. And now that my episode has aired, the “no spoilers!” rule doesn’t apply. I still can’t post any portion of my episode’s recording tho.
Now that my episode has aired across the lower 48 states, let me say this: I’ve never been more happy to take a P than on Wheel of Fortune!

It’s more of a contestant release form than an NDA (tho I won’t spoil what happened with the rest of this week’s shows since I stayed after my episode wrapped) but yeah, it had a LOT of pages. We all went through it with the lawyers the morning of taping.
