Q
I think everybody here apart from the England fans is celebrating. Even some of them recognize that Italy being good means a better six nations tournament.

Come on Italia! You can get that first historic win against England in the six nations! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

I have finally found an underground railway smaller than the Glasgow underground.

Zero black quinces were juiced or excessively harmed preparing this fine pangram.

Would the famous late eighteenth/ early nineteenth century poet who wasnโ€™t โ€œdifficultโ€ please raise their hands?

They all seem like Mick Jagger at his worst, at best.

Seeing anybody I know being a guest of honour is definitely a reality reality check. Not as much of a reality check as people winning Nobel prizes, but a reality check nonetheless.

Other side of London (no flights needed ๐Ÿ˜„), and San Diego, again. Also Birmingham, probably San Diego again, again, Amsterdam, Glasgow (last weekend in May), and Warsaw.

Birmingham, Glasgow, and Warsaw arenโ€™t work related.

Well, Iโ€™m glad the work travel booking system didnโ€™t let me accidentally book the flight twice, but it would have been nice if it took me to the, โ€œairline being slow,โ€ page.

How far back in time can you understand English? An experiment in language change

So, apparently everybody gets a 15% tariff. Can a trade deal negotiate that all tariff payments are put into a fund and can be reclaimed, or something like that. Iโ€™m trying to understand how countries who have negotiated trade deals with the US can salvage anything.

Somebody here was in the โ€œwrong pub.โ€ Wouldnโ€™t cheer for Scotland because a Scot would never cheer for England, and never followed rugby because the rules are too confusing.

The second one is fine, but on the first, read the fucking room.

Having been reading about the use of updatable soul documents to keep agents on track it strikes me that we are creating artificial Latros of the Mist. They can lie lied to by themselves, and by those around them, and only have the context of their own written account to guide them.

William Blakeโ€™s illustration for โ€œThe Tygerโ€ has what appears to be a dippy grin for some reason.

William Blakeโ€™s illustration for โ€œThe Tygerโ€ has what appears to be a dippy grin for some reason.

The wonderful thing about Tyggers
Is Tyggers are burning bright
Their tops are made out of rubber
In the forest of the night

What bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Immortal hand or eye
Did frame the most wonderful thing about Tyggers,
Their fearful symmetry!

If that happens and you stay silent about what they said then I have to assume you tacitly agree with them, you _are_ taking a political stance at that point.

I think Iโ€™ve hit my limit on continuing to support or watch people who are apolitical, โ€œto a fault.โ€ The to a fault bit is important. I am okay with people and orgs trying to be apolitical, but if one of your employees has to leave because of political things they have said then thatโ€™s different.
