So, apparently everybody gets a 15% tariff. Can a trade deal negotiate that all tariff payments are put into a fund and can be reclaimed, or something like that. I’m trying to understand how countries who have negotiated trade deals with the US can salvage anything.

If that happens and you stay silent about what they said then I have to assume you tacitly agree with them, you _are_ taking a political stance at that point.
I think I’ve hit my limit on continuing to support or watch people who are apolitical, “to a fault.” The to a fault bit is important. I am okay with people and orgs trying to be apolitical, but if one of your employees has to leave because of political things they have said then that’s different.
It’s this sort of thing that makes me find time travel plots easy to understand.
