AI search not only cites anti-trans disinfo, but sanitizes it, making practices like conversion therapy sound legitimate and safe.

Visiting my alma mater to give a talk on my book project (which is VERY MUCH in progress mind you).

It’s really a dream come true and feels like a homecoming. WGSS at UNCG shaped me in such profound ways and without my training there I would not be the scholar I am today. Simply thrilled!

This is SO awful and wont stand the test of time as a good decision. Genuinely shocked it appears to be a done deal.

Is it really such an untenable idea that social media could or even SHOULD be public goods?! Like is it just gonna always remain the case that to be on the internet is to subject oneself to ever more horrors under the guise of “terms of service,” “moderation,” and “compliance.”

You simply MUST be joking. You built something that only had the appeal of not being Twitter and has a learning curve for new users. Now you adopt TOS changes only in response to a fascist’s death and retroactively apply them piecemeal?

The thought occurs to me that anti trans activists are so hellbent on the idea that we have been “transed” or that we are transing youth because they themselves feel recognize on some level their genders were foisted upon them so they assume a trans gender must be as well 🤔
