Itβs globally framed: standards bodies, regulators, and governance efforts shaping safety, quality systems, cybersecurity, and neural data stewardship. Built to make primary sources easy to find early.
Just published Neurotechnology Standards & Governance, a free curated reference website for neurotech innovators.

Jim rhymes with Tim,
yet I have yet to meet a Jimothy
nor a Tames
Now home after 21 consecutive days of traveling, being sick, or both.
Recharging 7 different electronic devices.
Thank you so much, @nicolecrust.bsky.social!
I am hard to categorize and people sometimes don't know what to do with me. Yet similar to how some neurons are conjunctive in what they encode, I am excited to bringing things together.
Including resources for the field to make the impact possible!
A happy slice of life during SfN: handing my new Sanmai business card to my dissertation advisor.
Receiving yet more new business cards from Kaleida Capital today and looking forward to the shuffle synthesis!
Joyful for being in various dimensions of neurotech.
I think I am going to move to SF proper in the new year.
There's simply too much neural activity to be based an hour south of the city.
Ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory three times this week.
They say third time's the charm, yet the second and third times were just as charming as the first time.
The person in charge of the press room at @sfn.org walked around with a box of dark chocolate peanut butter cups and offered them to the remaining people in here!
It was a very wholesome moment.
After talking with people during @sfn.org about their innovations, I am convinced that neurotech is not a bubble, but is really just getting started as a growing area.
We will see inspiring things come into the world empowering discovery, humanity, and healthcare systems.

I am now back on LinkedIn
LinkedIn has temporarily restricted my account until tomorrow because they think they have detected automation tools. This happened last time I went to SfN too: making too many connections?
Ironically, I can't contact their support because I need to be logged into LinkedIn to contact their support!
Hello San Diego!
And the many humans here for neuro conferences!

Excited to host this Neurotech Glow Walk on Friday!

Yay!
My voice is recovered enough to have real spoken conversations!
Still recovering from laryngitis.
Currently happy about: having the foresight to have stockpiled three large boxes of tissues.
A new adventure is taking flight!
I am delighted to share that Iβm starting a new position as Venture Fellow with Kaleida Capital!
Iβll be working on deal sourcing, diligence, and ecosystem research across our NeuroAI thesis, while continuing involvements with the broader neurotech community.
Currently happy about: just happening to have the correct rare cable needed for something
It's cutting-edge!
It's noninvasive!
It's... a haircut!
Ship shape: in good shape to ship
Currently amused by: the algorithms pushing medical device hardware and software advertisements into my consciousness via various websites I visit
Today, I:
-Met up with a friend for breakfast
-Finished reading a book
-Made a new friend over tea
-Wrapped up a mindfulness course I was teaching
It is a wonderful life!
π₯° One of the people who attended the first Neurotech Glow Walk this past week sent me a message saying she really enjoyed meeting people at the event AND has already met up with some of them for coffee!
I also made plans to reconnect over coffee with some people who came to the Glow Walk!
Why is it a glow walk?
Because of the glow bracelets we wear!
I have plenty of glow bracelets to share!
