It would take a huge uproot on my current situation for me to put big mental energy into drawing and creation. It's really no wonder that I've struggled with this balance. So as a test my current goals are staying regular with exercise for energy and mood and reducing wasteful screentime(impossible)
RTd an essay recently from pat/the/flip and it makes a good point about hobbies! We pursue them because they fulfill important needs that we're missing elsewhere. Drawing is hard to do as a main hobby because my free time revolves around gaming for social and skill acquisition needs.
Insanely busy and tired lately but Ive been exercising a tiny bit again. Unfortunately have to admit (again) that it does wonders for mood and health. Drawing is in my future but I'm thinking super hard about the purpose of the hobby in my life again.

Hmm I feel like I poisoned the well a little bit by drawing Erika ooc so many times. Definitely lost the vision and I always feel a snag when I conflict with some random thing I drew. I think I gotta have 3 characters to hit my usual bases without conflict
I'm definitely focusing too hard on a small aspect of the game but it seems cool lol. I've played a few mobas and it feels like there's a huge skill tree for this game haha. Lots of ways to improve and show off your strengths and weaknesses as an individual. Really really cool
