I never had this much leg space on a train. It's like two people could fit there. If someone's doing POD they probably aren't selling thousands of copies, that wouldn't make much sense, but maybe I'm mistaken. I can only speak about regular print runs and regular distribution, I don't think I even know anyone who's doing POD.

Defining what's "upper indie" is the biggest obstacle IMHO. For me it was like 5k print copies, some nominations, global presence. But then I was told by someone from the indie scene that for them 20k print run is "not that much". And now I'm baffled.
