I'm not sure I'll keep supporting the service after this. I've got an annual subscription so I've got time to wait and see I guess. But I'm not happy

An ad is an ad is an ad and no amount of "hey gang" or calling them "bumpers" will make them something other than an ad on a previously ad-free premium subscription service.

What if they do 2 ads before your video? What if they do midroll ads? What if they add a higher paid tier for no ads? What if they give that one ads too?
Once you take one step, you've proven you could take the next one.

The problem with @dropout.tv's "bumpers" is that you can't unbreak that seal. You've put the looming shadow of ads over the platform and nothing you do will stop the worry of "what if?" What if they advertise products instead of their own content? What if they make an ad unskippable?

I can't see the point in it. The entire consultation just asks "were we sufficiently clear in erasing trans rights?"
