People who did a career change even after going to school for and spending almost a decade in the original career, was it worth it?

Same! I googled it mid post and Iβm so glad I did. RIP the user deleted their account. Still, Engineer Dave approves!
This consist deserves to be recreated on more model layouts.
Edit: BLESS THIS PERSON
The only pics I took today had my young nephews in front lol. It was my 2nd time to that museum but 1st time inside the train. Very neat! I recommend it if you get the chance again.
There was a homeless gentleman in the observation lounge of the Pioneer Zephyr train that's on display right before the ticket line, but still INSIDE of the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.
He was kind. But that was a uniquely Chicago experience.
Not my photos, just painting a picture.
Instant winner at RADwood.
Those, and ventilated seats. Idc if people say itβs unnecessary. I miss it when Iβm in a vehicle without em.
The one they had was not the turbo. And we had 5 people in the car, so that probably didn't help lol.
I drove my friendβs 1st gen Cruze on a road trip in undergrad. What a miserable, underpowered little car.
It was a big downgrade from the Cobalt.
Mine blew out from the side of the house. I am idiot neighbors π¬
My recycle bin fell over. By the time I got my jacket and shoes on to pick it all up, the few boxes in there were gone.
At least itβs biodegradable? π€·ββοΈ
Good morning from the Midwest
I always feel very uncomfortable when itβs very obviously the sellerβs teenage daughter in the listing photo.
Generally, later C1, C4, C5, and C6s were better cars. C3 went to crap in 1973. C2 and C7 were pretty consistent throughout their runs. Thereβs always exceptions and personal preferences, of course
And you can debate all day about the different trims and packages
Itβs too soon to talk about the C8
The C6 is my favorite behind the C2 lmao. Especially the Grand Sport. The C6 was the last Corvette with a cheap interior that started in the 80s, so I get that pushing it down.
I'd argue there's more "modern Corvette" in the C5 than the C4. The latter was more of a stepping stone.
Iβm intrigued, whatβs the definition of βgoodβ here?
Iβve always been of the opinion that every Corvette generation has good and crap years lol.
Dear Chevrolet & Dodge,
Amazingly. Itβs worse than the RFK stadium situation bc it hasnβt been used at all after the primary tenant left and itβs been completely gutted for 2 decades. No seats or anything inside.
Are you saying build a casino inside of the Astrodome shell?
Toys are meant to be played with. Itβs neat when you see examples that old in mint condition. But I run mine, so a few chips and scratches donβt bother me.
Thereβs a la cucaracha joke in there somewhere.
As a 91 C4 owner, I live this meme. The noises it makes as I row through the gears makes it as fast as it needs to be.
ππ
Driving a slower car at 80-100% of itβs capability will always be more fun than driving a faster car at 40-60%
Roads and your own skill being the limiting factors.
My German friend told me about their driverβs license experience and thatβs what gave me this opinion. They all know how to safely operate a vehicle. And they get the autobahn bc of it haha.
Absolutely! I saw someone in a Hummer EV punch it at a green light and itβs incredible how quickly that behemoth can get up and go. Also terrifying to think about being hit by it.
A lot of new, regular traffic cars can hold their own against 80s/90s sports cars between the traffic lights.
And with EVs, the bar of whatβs considered a βquick carβ these days is much higher.
This.
I thought I was a great driver until I was behind the wheel of a high horsepower car for the first time and it frightened me lol.
The driverβs test across the US needs to be more difficult in general.
So long as the weight reduction doesnβt sacrifice crash safety.
Crumple zones and airbags are still good.
Take out all the nonsense electronics,
Not a VW guy at all.
Iβd love to import one of the Mexican built βVochoβ Beetles.
This car was built in 2003!!
