It depends on off times and what we are calling cycling, at some point this is control.
When using manufacturers controls and their degree minutes work well with the system it’s exactly that
Long run times are great but there’s also extra energy use to allow this, there’s nothing better than off

Yes, cast rads like these are perfect for low temperature whether gas or heatpump.
But also the volume in there also allows longer run times.
With how the Viessmann works this should allow longer off periods.
I’m cautious of very long run times with excess energy use though.

I was but after thinking about it previously it maybe useful. All outlet pipe is insulated, and small runs to the bathrooms so will kind of preheat the run. Losses will be kept to usable water with only small losess externally I feel.

They was also the trial on these tariffs and they didn’t save any money.
I also have a firm stance on we shouldn’t be pricing people out of using electrical equipment,

The issue is done wrong they are costly to run when not masked with tariffs.
Questions arise what happens when the tariff goes and you want to change provider.
Also they are already changing altogether units because they are breaking so the carbon footprint is even higher which isn’t talked about

😂😂😂 I hope not as it looks like not doing my job right.
They come pre set on eco and I didn’t change it, strange how it’s gone to normal.
Normal will ramp up the compressor and get fastest charge, eco pulls back slightly for better returns.

If you’re happy with it thats all that matters.
I would say if it’s manufactured performance data though and now third party then it’s probably wrong and maybe a little lower still.
I’d be looking at improving hot water, either with Overnight that’s still poor.

All depends what you want, there’s nothing wrong with doing it right.
Two days seems short though, flushing and commissioning is a day.
If anyone is installing in two days I’d question it personally.
My own pricing is similar to HeatGeek’s.
