Thank you @esa.int for a wonderful #LPS25 last week! It was a pleasure to present ObsSea4Clim at a joint networking session with @ec.europa.eu. We highlighted marine #heatwaves and ocean #indicators as ocean science areas to be advanced through #collaboration. 🤝

UNOC3 – what did we learn? The UN’s 3rd Ocean Conference (UNOC3) took place from 9–13 June 2025 in Nice, France, drawing over 30,000 participants—including representatives from UN member states, stakeholders, and internation…

Two messages from #UNOC3 stood out for us: 1️⃣the need to strengthen ocean #observation efforts and 2️⃣the need to tackle #climate crisis, #biodiversity loss, and #ocean health as interconnected challenges. ObsSea4Clim and @bioecoocean.bsky.social work is an important contribution to tackle these needs!

The SRG will provide us with a structured and inclusive platform for engaging #policymakers, intergovernmental organizations, scientific institutions, and blue economy actors 🌊 #IGOs #NGOs #academia #oceanscience #EOVs #ECVs #GOOS #EuroGOOS #research #collaboration
