Fantasy Grounds does work ok on the Steam Deck. I had some configuration issues with using the controller in keyboard/mouse mode. Video chat on phone. Small text readability was a pain.
I have a second screen to workaround, but it's getting silly now.

Whelp my laptop running popOS can't handle Fantasy Grounds. May try going back to Fedora, but probably time to swap out the refurb to a different refurb.
