I realized the dumbing down of Americans when they started broadcasting cartoons for adults (The Simpsons, King of the Hill, etc). When I was growing up, we all got the same news (Cronkite), and the same education. It's not the same today, sadly.

We will instead have a major flagship march and rally in Philadelphia to draw a clear contrast between our people-powered movement and the costly, wasteful, and un-American birthday parade in Washington.
