We are rural Western Kansans who love our country, organizing to protect democracy, the rule of law, all Americans and our Allies. We're putting the united back in United States, and together we're indivisible. β₯οΈπ€π
Again. This matters.
The Department of Justice has sued 30 states and DC for access to their unreacted sensitive voter data. My law firm is fighting them in all 30 cases.
We are dedicating so many resources because these are the most important legal fights and the future of free and fair elections is at stake.
as a constant-yet-fluctuating disaster, which for most people mostly happens in the news, but if you work in a related field it's changed everything, and at any time the effects can randomly devastate someone you know or somewhere you live,
this presidential administration is weirdly like COVID
The reason we have βstupid rules of engagementβ is to make sure we donβt bomb elementary schools.

Of course, Kristi Noem deserved to be fired. But rather than spend energy celebrating this Trump setback, let's recognize that the disaster of todayβs DHS runs much deeper than the (former) Secretary's incompetence - and keep stepping up the political pressure.
So remarkably frustrated by the United States government this week. That it is in the hands of the worst, most incompetent, most compromised people. Ideologues and grifters. That our society enables it all. That they give a blank check to war mongers and the 1% and literally starve the country.
π
Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and itβs good sheβs gone.
But this doesnβt change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.

Okay, but...the horses have left the barn.
Saying "hold your horses!" now and waiting a week to close the barn doors isn't what we in Western Kansas recommend. π

From HCR's letter today. She's right, as always, this is an attack on all of us. Please stand up and speak up. All that comes next are the horrors of war, of which Trump and his sycophants know nothing.
