It has come to my attention that you must be from the Chicagoland area. Chicago is the best, except from October to May. And I must be all kindsa TdA, because respect.

Every correction from every βFox & Friendsβ sketch
But you never did it! They show you the file path and everything on ECF before you file.
We all have litigation nightmares(like opp counsel filing motion to compel when they know I'm in ICU w my Dad, which happened). But I'm not gonna accidentally file legal advice that I'm simultaneously ignoring.
People overstayed their visas!!! Like this: www.theguardian.com/technology/2...
Well heck, lets disband the judiciary, that just can't stand.
I don't know Counselor Sandoval-Moshenberg personally, but word on street is we should have given him a DC Bar award or something long ago, for just doing his job, whether its headline news or not.
Could be anything, but that's plausible.
The government's discovery responses were totally inadequate, but the government did say their position had changed since reading the Fourth Circuit opinion from Judge Wilkinson.

Plaintiffs may have consented so they could depose people after the government complies with it's written discovery obligations. But under seal, so got me.
Well, at least one person in that room was ready to defend the Constitution.
Also, while this is in many ways the least of our problems, come the eff on Defense Secretary Hegseth.
You put a makeup room in your office? So you could look pretty? Way to live the warrior ethos dude. I'd like to know how many Sephora points he has.

Lawyers make lawyer jokes too! When the Republic is again safe and sound we should do a standup night.

Thank you @sarakropf.bsky.social! Again, you set a great example.
And I'm absolutely blown away by everyone working at our local federal courts. The DDC & DMd court staff, judges, clerks, everyone, are putting in heroic hours. And I'm so sorry for anything I eff up filing that creates more work.
I really was clinging "to the hope that it is not naΓ―ve to believe our good brethren in the Executive Branch perceive the rule of law as vital to the American ethos." Order at 6.
And they would heed Judge Wilkinson's call to "summon the best that is within us while there is still time."
But no.
As Judge Wilkinson, a Reagan appointee, wrote, rejecting Trump adminβs request to stay a lower court order to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia, this case is about whether our executive branch obeys the law.
I concur on Judge Wilkinson's remarkable decision. And said some things along those lines last night on CNN. The full decision is well worth reading. www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8Au...
They are scared that once they say it, the damage is done. But not saying it, oof, guys, that is not going to work.
So much lying.
And not saying this is the crux of things.
But in my experience, in Prince George's County, Maryland, where I live, "top MS-13 members" do not hang out in front of my local Home Depot trying to get honest low paying work. Because real MS-13 members do not think that is cool.
Wow. This is strong.
Here's hoping that at least five Justices have similar courage.
The Governmentβs purported interpretation of this Courtβs order is nonsense.
Quinn Emmanuel pulled some punches, which I understand strategically, but as a normal citizen and lawyer I keep wandering around screaming basically this in my head, though less artfully. Maybe it'll get bounced for some reason or another, but I feel better having read your work, thank you.
But deference in this context means that the Executive can choose how to act lawfully; it does not mean that the Executive can act unlawfully. For example, the Executive is entitled to a high level of deference in its management of military affairs.
Go you! Nicely done!
Sigh. I am self-censoring. I hate self-censoring.

Not sure about that, but I am so with you on the Oxford comma. Long sentences are complicated, help a girl out with a comma when you can!
We've never been perfect, but there's so much reason for faith. Bad actors with loud voices don't speak for all of us. I see so much kindness everyday, despite everything. And you aren't giving up.

Because criticizing the Taliban is too woke now I guess.
