Pumpkin cheesecake with chocolate ganache topping
Iβve made prettier cheesecakes but never one that smelled better!
Time to brave the elements - on foot, no less! - to obtain chocolate & heavy cream to make ganache for the cheesecake. Wish me luck!

A light brown teapot with a floral decoration and a dry, dull surface sits on a kiln shelf. Other ware is visible in the background.
I vaguely remember from grad school: sometimes when an item came out of the firing too dry - ie, not enough glaze accumulated on it in the kiln - if I re- bisqued the piece, the color and shine would deepen.
Re-bisquing this teapot rn! Iβll know on Tuesday when I unload the kiln if it worked.
